Hilton Nagoya

In August 2026, I stayed at Hilton Nagoya and would like to introduce it. Opened in 1989, it is known as the first foreign-affiliated hotel in Nagoya.

It is conveniently located between Nagoya Station and Sakae, the downtown area, making it very accessible.

There are 7 room types. This time, I stayed in a ‘Premium Executive Room.’ Rooms from the Executive level and above include executive lounge access. Furthermore, rooms from the Premium Executive level and up feature a separate bathroom.

After checking in, I headed to my room. This time, I got a room facing east (toward Sakae).

Guests staying on the executive floor (or Hilton Honors Diamond members) have access to the executive lounge. The lounge was relocated and renovated on the 2nd floor in 2025. Refreshments are served during the day, followed by a cocktail time in the evening.

During the refreshment time, they offered coffee, tea, soft drinks, and other beverages, along with light bites such as sweets and quiche.

During cocktail time, alcoholic beverages were added to the drink selection, along with a spread of food and desserts such as cake.

The food options were quite extensive and varied.

Breakfast is offered in a buffet style at ‘IN PLACE 3-3’ on the 1st floor. (Guests with lounge access privileges can also choose to have breakfast at the lounge.) There were also local Nagoya specialties such as Hatcho miso curry, kishimen noodles, ankake spaghetti, and deep-fried shrimp.

Hilton Honors Gold members and above were offered a special drink service.

This stay was made even more special by experiencing it as a Hilton Honors Diamond member!

Total Review

Although it has been about 40 years since its opening, it has been renovated and the facilities are clean. The breakfast and lounge menus were also extensive. (Though it felt a bit lacking in elegance, I suppose that’s unavoidable given the large number of rooms…)
